UNITY! is a powerful word, as we read about it in Psalm 133:1. "Behold how good and how peasant it is for brethren to dwell together in UNITY!" It tells us that UNITY is pleasant and good and reading further in the chapter, from UNITY comes blessings and life for evermore. Now, also in the spirit of UNITY comes BREAKTHROUGH (Joshua 6), VICTORY (2 Chronicles 20) and the PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (Acts 2). The reading of these scriptures shows us the importance of UNITY, it causes us all to experience the benefits of the Kingdom of God. Glory 2 God! So therefore let us walk in UNITY, that we all can say, "Behold, how good and pleasant "UNITY!" is. Amen.

"Black History!" is America's history in all that "WE" have done and accomplished in the telling of Our History, it has made America Better along the way.

But through all of this, there has been one consistent theme and that is..."God has been on our side, God has kept us and seen us through and God has made us to be able to say....

"Being confident of this very thing, that we which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"

Philippians 1:6

Black History Timeline

As  we come to the end of our " Black History Month" Celebration, we are reminded of all that we have talked about, learned about and watched. Black History is relevant because it is America's history and indeed World history.

Truly talking of Black History and that of African American History, you must talk of the foundation and that is the "Black Church." There in the Black Church came many leaders that helped lead a people through slavery, Jim-Crow and injustice throughout the land, The Black Church upheld and comfort those that suffered.

As we conclude our "Black History" celebration let's remember the foundation that touched us all... THE BLACK CHURCH. Amen.

As we continue to Celebrate Black History Month, we remember UNITY! UNITY is what helped us get through the "Jim Crow laws", "Segregation", "Police intimidation" and "Injustice." When we Stood and Marched together in UNITY..."We Overcame," Amen. During this time let's remember Congressman and Civil Rights Icon, John Lewis who marched in UNITY with Dr. King over the Edmond Pettus Bridge...
